Important change in Native image aspect ratios for your campaigns!

Native ads are an excellent way for you to seamlessly integrate your offer into a website’s design. Compared to Banner ads, which often lead to ad blindness, Native ads allow users to engage with your advertisement more effectively. Recently, our Native ad format has improved even further. Before, you were limited to a 300x300px image size; now you can upload your creatives in a variety of sizes, and ExoClick’s system accepts numerous native creative ratios, which resizes them for optimal campaign performance. Read on for a complete list of available creative sizes for Native campaigns.
Available Native image aspect ratios
You now have a wide selection of image sizes available in 4:3, 16:9, and 1:1 ratios. Additionally, there is a tolerance of ±10% for upload ratios. For example, in the 1:1 ratio category, you can upload an image that is 400 x 370 pixels. Although this dimension is not exactly 1:1, it falls within the allowable 10% range.

Native format steps in the Admin Panel
Now let’s look at whether this changes anything in the Advertiser campaign set up in the Admin Panel.
- Name your zone.
- Select the category.
- Select the newly named ‘Native Ad’ format.
Please note this was previously called Native Ad (300 x 300).
4. The Ads section of the campaign set up, is where you upload your creative variations. As you can see in the table above, there is a large range of image sizes for Native creatives. If you need a reminder of the minimum and maximum size ratios, you can click the “i” icon for more information.
Once uploaded, the image will be automatically resized to fit perfectly within the Publisher site’s Native ad zone.
Creative ratios have changed, but remember the other creative requirements remain the same:
- The image file must still be a PNG or JPEG.
- Title Text: Maximum 90 characters.
- Description Text: Maximum 90 characters.
- Brand Text: Maximum 30 characters.
You can use the Crop Anchor point to ensure that the most important section of your image is displayed to the end user. This will allow you to crop the image, focusing on the most important part of your creative.
